To cater to our China growth, we are setting up a local software support center and have immediate vacancy for a LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER and a SOFTWARE ENGINEER to be based in Shanghai or Beijing.
Software Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
* To prepare software project plan in terms of defining the technical specifications for Printronix products, printing solutions or printer software features based on market and customer requirements.
* Will work closely with R&D / Engineering in Singapore & USA and Customer Support & Sales / Marketing groups in China to develop solutions for our full range of line matrix, thermal and laser products.
Job Requirements :
* Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering.
* At least 3 to 5 years of software development experience with good exposure to software engineering processes.
* ANSI C, C++, VC, VB programming skill, Microsoft system development environment supporting object-oriented and printer driver development required.
* Good project management & people management skills required for Lead Engineer position.
* Previous experience in printing software development for line matrix, thermal or laser / inkjet printers will be beneficial.
* Proficiency in oral and written English will be a definite plus.
