QA - The North Face (Indonesia)
This position will base in Indonesia taking care of one of our brands, "The North Face"
OBJECTIVES:
1. To carry out quality inspection throughout PPM, TOP, In Progress & Product Finish, to assure the shipped products conform VF quality requirement and timely execution.
2. To key in audit report data in NGC System on time.
ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitor production closely and provide technical support when needed to ensure quality meets specifications
2. Fill out inspection report during the whole production stage.
3. Obtain accurate information from merchandisers.
4. Ensure all vendors following VF’s Term of Engagement, Vendor Code of Conduct and other rules and regulations.
5. Communicate pro-acttively, effectively and as often as necessary with all personnel in the QA and Merchandising Team.
6. Follow-up on production and keep merchandising team informed of the progress.
7. Establish a reasonable working relationship with factory to facilitate problem solving and maintain effectiveness and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. At least 5 year experience in a similar capacity and experience working in both factory and buying office is preferable
2. Familiar with quality control system and procedures
3. Proficient in both spoken and written English
4. Computer knowledge in e-mail & MS applications
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with good customer service
6. An effective problem solver and be able to work under pressure
