PT. Bahari Cakrawala Sebuku, a group of STRAITS Asia Resources has coal mining project located on Sebuku Island, in the province of South Kalimantan, is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual for:
SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
(Job Location: South Kalimantan)
SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
Responsibility:
* Budgeting, planning and implementation open pit geotechnical pit slope monitoring
* Analyze and recommend a proper action related to failure/stability risk management
* Liaise with geotechnical contractor and consultant for specific task
* Liaise with mine planning, blasting engineer and geologist for pit optimization due to maximum coal extraction purposes
Skill and knowledge require:
* Mastering Slope /W geotechnical software is a must
* Understanding Galena software will be an advantage
* Rock property analysis based on software and laboratory result
* Understanding Hoek-brown criterion will be an advantage
Preferred character:
* Creative, hard worker and able to work under pressure
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Additional skill:
* Good communication in English for verbal and writing
* Minimum 4 years involvement intensely in open pit slope monitoring and management
