Sr. Consultant (Unix OS-Sun Solaris-HP UX with Oracle DBA(10G))

We are urgently looking for Sr. Consultant ( Unix system and Network Maagement) with certified Oracle DBA
Job Responsibilities:
•Manage multiple flavours of Unix OS (eg. Sun Solaris, HP-UX),
Setup and manage system clusters
•ORACLE Database Set up, Administration and Tuning
•Required to conduct operation checks to ensure maximum uptime for Servers, Databases, BEA Web Services, WAN/Firewall related systems and to provide monthly Operations report
•Performance tuning, monitoring and corrective action on application, database server and network support, including troubleshooting of Network problems
•Provide support in new technologies installation and testing
•Test inoperability of new hardware and software
•Plan the capacity requirements of all servers
•Documentation of operating environments, including processes & procedures in server management



Job Requirements:

•Bachelor Degree in IT or Computer Engineering
•Min. 5 years of UNIX System and Network Management Experience
•Sun Certified System Administrator/ HP UX Certified System Administrator
•Certified Oracle Database Administrator (10G)
•Exposure in BEA System Administration experience will be an added advantage
•Good exposure in capacity planning, performance tuning & troubleshooting of Unix based systems
•Demonstrates a calm and rational approach to tasks under pressure and manage own time effectively
•Must be customer satisfaction oriented, with good relationship skills. Participate in organizational efforts in improving customer satisfaction
•Adhere to all organizational policies & standards
•Have good communications skills and speak & write good English
•Multi tasking capability
