Programmer/Technical Support
Responsibilities :
As a programmer/technical support, you will:
*
Work with INTERSYSTEMS staff (e.g, senior programmer, and support staff, product manager) to plan program code enhancements and changes.
*
Occasionally work with customers to clarify the intent of new features and resolve problems.
*
Create, test and maintain INTERSYSTEMS program code.
*
Create custom labels and reports using Crystal Reports.
*
Assist with distribution/rollout processes for INTERSYSTEMS programs, databases, and updates to these.
*
Install, configure and troubleshoot INTERSYSTEMS software (usually by remote dial-in).
*
Assist the customer install/configure/troubleshoot INTERSYSTEMS software and SQL databases.
*
Provide “second tier” INTERSYSTEMS program support. This will require a close working relationship with one or more INTERSYSTEMS support staff.
*
Provide general programming assistance for other INTERSYSTEMS programming projects as needed.
*
Office IT supports: Assist in management of the INTERSYSTEMS website/server, and other INTERSYSTEMS servers, and provide IT support to other non-IT staff.
Requirements :
The programmer must be experienced (i.e., at least have 1 year experiences) with:
*
Visual Basic 6, including the use of program “classes” and creation of DLL’s
*
SQL Server databases
*
Windows 2000/NT Server and Windows XP/2000/98
*
Crystal Reports
*
Bachelor Degree (S1) majoring in IT
*
Owned vehicle is desirable
Experience with the following is desirable but not required:
*
ASP.Net, Java, MS Access
*
PC Anywhere, VNC, MS Office Suite, MS Exchange
*
Networking/LANs, TCP/IP protocol
